When you both approached the house, it looked like it wouldn't belong to the softest marshmallow. It had jagged rocks poking out and spikes on it. Sans took you to the doorstep and knocked on the door. A moment later, you heard a clicking sound coming from the other side of the door. It opened.
Alphys was a yellow lizard-dino. You couldn't tell which. She had claws and sharp teeth. She waved at Sans, but then she looked behind him and saw you. She clenched her fists tightly and screamed, "YOU'RE FRIENDS WITH A HUMAN?!"
You stood behind Sans. He walked up to Alphys and whispered something in her ear. She looked even more angry, but cooled off a little. "Fine," she grumbled. She let you both inside.
"So, uh... What are we gonna do?" You asked. Then Sans had some sort of look on his face. Somehow, sweat trickled down the back of his skull.
"Whoops!" He blurted. "I just remembered.... I have to go to the bathroom! You two have fun!" He ran and threw himself out the window. Some glass broke. You just stared, gawking as he ran.
"... So. Why are YOU here?" Alphys broke the silence. You tried to find words to say something without provoking her to beat you to death.
"Uhm... Sans wanted me to-"
"Ugh, Sans! He always ruins it! He was supposed to capture you! And now he's your boyfriend! Aargh!" You were about to explain how you were pretending to date him so he wouldn't have to join the royal guard and never have to train with her and how you were lying to Alphys the entire time, but then you remembered. "I'm here because... I want to be friends with you."
"Alright! Then! Let's be friends! Let's go frolic in the fields of friendship!" You smiled. That was easy.
"NOT!" The smile on your face disappeared. She continued on and on.
"Why would I ever be friends with you?! You little brat! You see where your standing, right there, right now?!" You looked down. It seemed like an ordinary floor tile.
"Where you're standing is... IN THE WAY OF EVERYONE'S HOPES AND DREAMS!" And... There it is.
"I'll never be friends with you!" Well, it was worth a shot. You began walking back, but then you looked up at the window. Sans jumped back in through the same window. He seemed completely unharmed. "Oh... I thought Alphys could be friends with you. But I guess I overestimated her. She's just not up to the CHALLENGE." Alphys grew angry.
"CHALLENGE?! What?!" Sans threw himself out the same window again. You wondered how much pain the small skeleton could endure.
"He thinks I can't be friends with YOU?! Ha ha. Very funny. Because we're not gonna be friends. Oh no, we're not. WE'RE GONNA BE BESTIES." All of a sudden, you remembered how scared you were. "I'll make you like me so much that you won't be able to think of ANYONE ELSE!" She looked sinister. Then she smiled sweetly. "Why don't you take a seat?" Shaking, you sat down on a stool in front of a table.
"Comfortable? Let me get you something to drink." She opened the fridge and cabinets and got out different juices, drinks, pots and glasses. "What would you like?" You got up to-
A giant sword was thrown in your direction. It landed on the table and broke it in half. "NO! STAY THERE! You're my guest and you'll sit down and relax!" Then Alphys smiled again, and said, "Why not just point to what you want? You can use the sword." It was heavy, and you tried to move it to stay at a certain spot. You pointed to the tea, and the sword wiggled out of place. Alphys noticed you were struggling. "Tea, huh? Coming right up!" She picked up the tea and dumped the entire three boxes into the one pot. She poured water into it too. "It'll take a moment for the water to boil," she said.
After a few minutes, she said, "It's all done!" She grabbed a cup and poured the scalding liquid into the cup. It overflowed and tea spilled onto the floor. She didn't care. She brought it over to the smashed up table. "Careful, it's hot," she said.
You decided to let it cool for a moment. You blew on the tea.
"It's not THAT hot! Just drink it already!" You were reluctant to drink it, but you picked it up anyway. The tea burned your hand through the cup. You brought it up to your lips. You poured it into your mouth. It stung. You internally screamed. But other than that, it's pretty good. At least, you assumed that. You couldn't tell because your tongue was burned up. "It's pretty good," you managed to say. Alphys had a crazed look on her face. "Nothing but the best for my ABSOLUTELY PRECIOUS FRIEND!"
You both were silent for a moment. Then Alphys spoke. "You know, I probably won't let Sans into the royal guard. It's not that he's too weak! He's actually pretty freaking tough! It's just..." She fell silent for a second.
